Classes
At Southwest Gardens we try to offer a variety of classes to help give our customers the knowledge they need to have successful gardens and beautiful landscapes. We believe that by sharing our knowledge it only enriches the relationships with our customers. We are here to help so please do not hesitate to reach out to our knowledgeable staff with any questions and concerns about your plants. From fertilizers to soils and succulents to house plants we have you covered.
Seed Sowing Classes

This is a 45 minute class taught by our Greenhouse Manager Megan. In this class you will learn how and when to start your vegetable garden seeds. You will also learn which seeds to start inside and which to sow directly outside .We will also discuss which varieties grow best in our climate. Classes are limited to 15 people per class and are $15 per person. You will receive a free gift with your attendance All classes are held inside You must register and pay prior to arrival.

Vegetable Garden Secrets Class

This an hour class taught by our Greenhouse Manager Megan. We will discuss when how to plant and grow a productive a garden. Things that will be covered in this class include: best varieties to grow in Colorado climate ~ soil ~ fertilization ~ watering
We will also share tricks of the trade and best harvesting times.
Classes are limited to 15 people per class and are $15 per person. All classes are held inside. You must register and pay prior to arrival.
